Check Correct Tyre Inflation Pressure

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004
Part: Checks and maintenance

The correct inflation pressure of the tyres is essential to ensure grip and uniform tyre wear, not to mention the impact this parameter has on fuel consumption. Once you have checked the size of the installed tyres, you will find a table inside the passenger door pillar that indicates the inflation pressure value based on both the tyre size and the vehicle's load conditions. Remember to check the tyre pressure when the tyres are cold (otherwise, there is a risk that the air has already expanded, making it difficult to obtain accurate readings).

Next, remove the covering plastic near the lever. Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Finally, pull the panel away with your hands and unclip it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the release cable). Reassemble everything in reverse order.
