This guide briefly outlines the instructions to unlock the automatic gearbox in case of an emergency or breakdown on a Ford Focus. First, get into the vehicle and gently detach the gear lever gaiter using a thin plastic lever; then disconnect the mechanism for moving the gear lever, positioning it in neutral, as shown in the video.

At this point, you can move the vehicle in case of emergency, finally repositioning the gearbox in the P (parking) position.
