In this video, we see how to solve a problem that affects the air conditioner of the Ford Edge, which is a dual-zone automatic air conditioner. It may happen that the fan blows cold air on one side, while on the other side it fails to do so and instead blows hot air. There is an empirical method to remedy this problem. We will have to press the air conditioner button and the defrost button simultaneously, and then press the air conditioner button again. This trick allows the system to unlock, and it definitely works on the MK1 version; it is likely to also work on later versions, and in any case on other Ford models as well.
