To remove the engine from the GasGas JTX 270, loosen the bolts that secure it to its housing, allowing you to free it completely from the frame: also loosen the bolts securing the manifolds and disconnect the connectors from the relevant sensors. Once the engine is freed, you can loosen the cylinder mounting bolts to remove it and detach the piston from its connecting rod: at this point, you will have access to the crankshaft and all internal components that may need to be replaced.
