It will be possible to replace the piston of the GasGas EC 300 by first loosening the fastening screws that secure the engine block to its supports in the center of the frame. Once the fastening screws have been removed, the sensors will need to be disconnected, and the screws that attach the cylinder to the top of the engine block should be loosened. The piston will then be accessible and can be freed from the connecting rod by removing the corresponding ring and pin. Now, the new piston can be positioned on the connecting rod and connected, reattaching the cylinder and ensuring that everything works properly.
