To replace the piston of the GasGas EC 300, you need to remove the side fairings by unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts; once these are detached, you will be able to access the underlying components, particularly disconnecting all connectors attached to the engine. Now, the cylinder head must be removed by unscrewing the bolts that secure it, allowing access to the piston underneath: by removing the corresponding retaining ring, you can detach the old piston from its conrod and replace it with a new one. After the replacement, reassemble all the previously removed components.
