How do you replace the piston of the GasGas EC 300?

The replacement of the Gas Gas EC 300 piston is carried out by removing the saddle and part of the fairing, in order to have access to the mechanical parts. The starter and power valve must first be removed. Then you will have to loosen the bolts that secure the cylinder and once this has been removed, the piston will be visible. By removing its locking seeger ring, the piston can be removed from the connecting rod and replaced with a new piece. Once this is done, it will be possible to reassemble all the parts removed previously, verifying that the engine is working.
