The engine of the GasGas EC 300 can be dismantled by extracting the engine block from its housing after all the fixing bolts of the respective supports have been loosened. It will also be necessary to disconnect all connectors to completely remove the block: before opening it, detach the piston from its connecting rod by removing the retaining ring. At this point, you can loosen the additional screws that secure the two half-casings, allowing access to the crankshaft and other components that may need to be replaced.
