The procedure for dismantling the engine of a GasGas EC 300 involves extracting the engine block from its housing after all the fastening bolts have been loosened from their respective supports. You will also need to disconnect all connectors and hoses to completely remove the block: before dismantling, detach the piston from its conrod by removing the corresponding retaining ring.

At this point, you can loosen the additional screws that secure the two half casings, allowing access to the internal parts of the engine.
