How to Reset the ECU of the Geely Emgrand

If the ECU of your Geely Emgrand is causing significant operational issues, you need to perform a manual reset to resolve any temporary software errors. There is no dedicated function on the onboard computer, so you will proceed "the old-fashioned way". First, completely switch off the car and then open the front bonnet to access the engine compartment. Next, locate the ECU on the right side, release the safety latch, and lift it out completely. Wait a few seconds and reinstall it, securing the safety latch. At this point, the reset is complete, and you can test the functionality by starting the car.
