To check the engine oil level on the Gilera Nexus 500, locate the dipstick that allows monitoring. This is found on the right side of the bike, low down near the footpeg and above the exhaust. Simply unscrew the cap to which the dipstick is attached to remove it from its housing. Once removed, it should be cleaned and reinserted into its housing, screwing it in completely. If the fluid is between the minimum and maximum marks indicated by two notches, it means the oil level is sufficient. At the end of the operation, be sure to screw the cap back in completely.
