To replace the oil and oil filter on the Gilera Runner VX 125, warm up the bike to make the oil more fluid. Then, open the drain plug using a 24mm spanner and position a container underneath to collect the used oil. With the same spanner, loosen the oil filter and remove the mesh filter: this should be cleaned with a blast of compressed air. Once cleaned, it can be reinserted, and the new oil filter can be fitted. Finally, top up the oil through the cap located on the opposite side.
