To replace the variator on the Gilera GP 800, loosen the screws securing the cover located on the left side of the motorcycle to gain access to the components inside. The central nut fixing the variator pin must be loosened: this will allow the old variator to be removed from its housing, along with the belt around it. Once the old variator is removed, insert the new one, reposition the belt, and ensure everything functions correctly.
