How do you replace the variator on the Gilera GP 800?

Replacing the variator on the Gilera GP 800 is done by loosening the screws that fix the casing positioned on the left side of the motorcycle, so that you can have access to the components located inside. The central nut that fixes the variator pin must be loosened: in this way the old variator can be removed from its housing, also removing the belt placed around it. Once the old variator has been removed, it will be possible to insert the new one, repositioning the belt and checking that everything works correctly.

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the motor oil in the KTM Duke 890, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to be cold enough, then we place a container underneath it, locate the two drain plug bolts and unscrew them using an 18mm socket wrench. We then let all the oil in the system drain out, open the filter housing and insert the replacement. At this point, all that's left to do is reassemble everything and pour in the new oil through the appropriate upper hole.
