In order to replace the variator of the Gilera GP 800, you need to loosen the screws that fix the transmission case, located near the rear wheel on the left side of the motorcycle: once this panel has been removed, you can locate the variator and loosen the central nut that fixes the mounting pin. At this point, you can remove the variator from its seat and insert the new replacement part, repositioning the belt around it; by doing this, you can verify that everything works correctly.
