How to Replace the Variator on the Gilera GP 800

To replace the variator on the Gilera GP 800, loosen the bolts securing the cover near the rear wheel on its left side. Once all the fastening bolts have been removed, detach the cover to access the underlying components.

You will need to unscrew the central bolt of the variator, removing it from its housing along with the belt. At this point, insert the new replacement part, placing the belt around it and then covering everything with the cover.
