To replace the piston on a Gilera DNA 125, you need to loosen the screws that secure the seat of the motorcycle so that it can be removed from its housing. By detaching the side panels, you will be able to extract the engine from its housing by disconnecting the connectors and loosening the bolts that secure it. At this point, you can unscrew the bolts that hold the cylinder at the top of the motorcycle, gaining access to the piston underneath. This can be detached from the connecting rod by widening the retaining ring, allowing you to insert the new replacement part.
