Model: Gilera Runner 180
To replace the head gasket on the Gilera Runner 180 XVR, you must remove the entire engine from its housing: to do this, you will need to detach the side fairings that are immediately before the swingarm. Once these have been removed, you can loosen all the bolts and various connectors that hold the swingarm to the rest of the bike: at this point, it will be possible to remove it and along with it the engine. The engine will need to be opened by unscrewing the bolts that fix the head, in order to detach the corresponding gasket: it will now be possible to replace it with a new one, mounting all the previously removed components.

First of all we put our scooter on the central stand and begin to unscrew the fixing screws that we find on the sides of the compartment. helmet holder; we then unscrew the seat screws to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point we unscrew the petrol cap and remove the lateral plastic parts of the compartment, thus accessing the upper part of the engine; then let's reassemble everything, applying the reverse procedure! by ScegliAuto More videos
