How do you replace the oil pump of the Gilera Runner 50?

In order to replace the oil pump of the Gilera Runner 50, you need to loosen the screws that fix the panels located on the left rear side of the motorcycle: under them there will be the transmission case, which must be removed in order to locate the oil pump on the left side of the clutch. Loosening the screws that fix it to its housing and disconnecting the appropriate tubes, it will be possible to remove it from its housing and replace it with a new one. After the replacement, you can reposition the new spare part, mounting all the removed components.

How to adjust the valve clearance on a 260cc engine

In this video tutorial we are told how to adjust the valve clearance in a 260cc engine. The necessary tools that we will need to carry out the operation are: an 8mm wrench, a pliers and a thickness gauge of 0.10 / 0.15 and 0.20. First we unscrew the pins and remove the head cover, we find the two exhaust valves and two intake valves connected by relative rockers and bearings. Above the valves we find the adjustment screws; before proceeding we will have to bring the engine into the combustion phase, that is the position in which the valves will all be closed. It is important to operate with a cold engine. After putting the engine in phase and removing the caps and the water pump, we will have to take the feeler gauge and insert it between the valves and the rocker arm, so as to bring the intake valves to 0.10? Soft? this means that the 0.15 must hardly enter and then in the same way we will bring the exhaust ones to 0.15 soft, which means that the 0.20 will have to hardly enter.
