How to Change the Coolant in a Gilera Runner?

To change the coolant in a Gilera Runner, start by turning off the engine and allowing it to cool completely. Position the vehicle on a central stand to ensure stability.

Remove the radiator cap to allow the fluid to drain more easily. Locate the coolant drain plug, usually found at the bottom of the radiator or engine block, and place a container underneath it. Unscrew the drain plug and let the coolant drain completely.

Once the system is empty, re-screw the drain plug and ensure it is tight. Fill the radiator with new coolant, using an appropriate mixture of antifreeze and distilled water, until the correct level is reached.

Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes, allowing the new coolant to circulate through the system and removing any air bubbles. Turn off the engine and check the coolant level, adding more if necessary.

Close the radiator cap and check for leaks.
