To change the coolant of a Gilera Runner, start by turning off the engine and letting it cool completely. Place the vehicle on a central stand to ensure stability. Remove the radiator cap to allow the coolant to flow more easily. Locate the coolant drain plug, usually located at the bottom of the radiator or engine block, and place a container underneath it. Unscrew the drain plug and let the coolant drain completely. Once the system is empty, screw the drain plug back in and make sure it is tight. Fill the radiator with the new coolant, using an appropriate mixture of antifreeze and distilled water, until reaching the correct level. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes, allowing the new coolant to circulate in the system and removing any air bubbles. Turn off the engine and check the coolant level again, adding more if necessary. Close the radiator cap and check for any leaks.
