How to Remove the Spare Tire from a 2013 GMC Sierra

The spare tire on 2013 GMC Sierra vehicles is located underneath the vehicle. To remove the tire and use it during a replacement, you need an electric screwdriver that will allow you to quickly unscrew the support bolt and drop the tire to the ground. By disconnecting the cable, you can extract it and mount it on the wheel. If an electric wrench is not available, you can use a hex key to insert into the side bolt and unscrew until you see the tire drop to the ground. In this case, it should also be disconnected from the cable to be used.
