How to Replace the Key Fob Battery for GMC Sierra

Today, you will learn how to replace the battery in the key fob for the GMC Sierra. The battery you will use for the replacement is a CR 2450, available online or at auto parts stores. To replace the battery, press the side button and pull the top to remove the metal key inside. After removing the metal key, insert the tip into the top hole and apply slight upward pressure to open the key fob. Once the key fob is open, replace the battery. Close the key fob and insert the metal key back inside. Stand in front of the vehicle to test its functionality.
