If you need to replace the battery on this vehicle model, the following text provides all the instructions and steps to safely perform the replacement. After opening the hood, locate the battery on the upper right side of the engine compartment.

Remove the four screws securing the upper crossmember, then disconnect the negative terminal first and the positive terminal second. Pull out the battery and place the new one in position, then reconnect the positive terminal first and the negative terminal second, and finally reattach the screws for the upper plate.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
