How to Replace the Battery on a GMC Sierra

To replace the battery on this vehicle yourself, follow the instructions below and refer to the video. After opening the hood, locate the battery on the right side. Remove the crossbar above the battery and the side mounting bracket. Disconnect the negative terminal first, then the positive terminal. Next, remove the fuse box located above the battery, take out the old battery, and install the new one. Reconnect the positive terminal first, then the negative terminal after repositioning the fuse box, and finally reattach the mounting crossbars.
