In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in the remote for a GMC Sierra. For this simple task, you need a small flathead screwdriver and, of course, a replacement CR2032 3V battery.

To open the remote, pry in the slot located behind the ring with the tip of the screwdriver. Once the back cover is open, remove the old battery using the screwdriver and insert the replacement, making sure to place it with the positive terminal facing you. Finally, reposition the back cover.
