You can replace the air filter on a Harley Davidson Softail by loosening the screws that secure the cover panel on the right side of the vehicle, allowing it to be removed. Underneath, you will find the filter, which is secured by additional screws.

These can now be completely removed to extract the old filter from its housing and position the new one: the new filter can then be covered by the corresponding cover panel, allowing you to start the engine to check that everything is functioning correctly.
