To replace the spark plugs on a Harley Davidson Sportster, disconnect the coils connected to them. These are located on the left side of the bike, just below the fuel tank. Once the coils are disconnected, you can remove the spark plugs from their housing using an 8 mm socket. Insert the new spark plugs into their housings and reconnect them to the coils. After installing the new spark plugs, check that the bike starts.

By unscrewing the screws that secure the panel, you can access the battery underneath, which must be freed from the corresponding securing screws and the appropriate power cables.
