To replace the exhaust on an Harley Davidson Sportster 883, you need to loosen the screws that secure the exhaust terminal to its housing on the right side of the bike: at this point, it will be possible to widen the connecting clamp located between the exhaust manifold and the exhaust itself.

This way, the exhaust terminal can be completely released so that the new one can be inserted: the new exhaust can then be connected to the manifold by inserting the connecting clamp and secured to the exhaust supports by inserting the relevant screws.
