You can replace the front brake pads on a Honda CBF 1000 GT by loosening the bolts that secure the brake caliper to the disc: once the fixing bolts are undone, you can completely detach it from its housing to remove the pin from its seat. This way, you can slide the pads out of their position to insert the new ones; now, secure them with the corresponding pin and then fix the caliper back to the disc to ensure everything functions correctly.
