To replace the clutch on the Honda Shadow VT1100, remove the bolts securing the cover containing the clutch using an Allen key. Once the bolts are removed, you can slide off the cover and access the clutch: it must be disassembled by removing the central pin and all the screws connected to the springs. This will allow you to separate all the discs that make up the clutch: once these have been removed from their housing, you can insert the new replacement parts and close the cover again by re-tightening the previously removed bolts.
