In this article, you will learn the procedure to reset the oil light on the 2016 Honda CR-V. The procedure takes less than 1 minute to complete and does not require any tools or software. To perform the reset, first, turn on the instrument panel by placing the key in position 2, after which the oil light will appear on the panel; at this point, press the reset button located at the top of the panel, holding it down for about 20 seconds.

When the light starts to flash, release the button and press it again for about 15 seconds; now the light will be reset and stop flashing. Finally, release the button and restart the instrument panel to verify that the procedure was successful.
