How to reset the oil light on the 2016 Honda CR V

In this article, we will illustrate the procedure to reset the oil light on the 2016 Honda CR V. The procedure takes less than 1 minute to complete and does not require the use of tools or software. To perform the reset, first start the instrument panel by turning the key to position 2, then the oil light will appear on the panel and at this point press the reset button located on the top of the panel, holding it down for about 20 seconds. When the light starts flashing, release the button and press it again for about 15 seconds. Now the light will be reset and stop flashing, then release the button and restart the instrument panel to verify that the procedure was successful.
