Application of Tinted Films

For the application of tinted films on the windows, specific equipment is required: glass cleaner and a sponge with a mesh for cleaning, application liquid, a specific cutter, a heat gun, and a set of squeegees.
Keep in mind that the film will need to be shaped and moulded from the outside and then applied from the inside: to shape it, place the film externally on the glass with the release liner always facing outwards.
Once the glass has been carefully cleaned, wet it with the appropriate application liquid and place the film externally on the glass (with the release liner always facing outwards), shape it appropriately, and mould it with a squeegee and heat gun to avoid air bubbles and give it the correct curvature.
At this point, wet the glass internally, remove the outer liner from the film, and stick it to the glass from the inside: then use the squeegee to adhere it, eliminating all excess water.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
