In this tutorial, we can see how to disassemble the handbrake knob in the Honda Civic, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, let's go inside the cabin, then, using preferably a plastic spatula so as not to leave marks, we unhook the upper cover by levering along the entire perimeter.

We then release the clip indicated with a small flat screwdriver, remove the button, and extract the rubber cover from the rod. At this point, all that remains is to insert the various spare parts and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
