Replacement of Window Switch
Model: Honda Civic
MK 7
- Years 2001-2006
To replace the window switch, you need to remove the door panel: start by removing the plastic triangle located just behind the external mirror; take off the cap inside the internal opening lever and the handle grip cover to access the screws securing the panel and unscrew them. Disconnect the cable connected to the opening lever, the connector for the central locking, and the one connected to the window control switch. Then unclip the retaining clips along the edges of the panel and remove it. Unscrew the screws securing the handle complete with the window control switch, remove it from its location, unclip the part housing the switch, unscrew it, and replace it with the new one. Proceed in reverse for reassembly.
