Resetting the Service Indicator for Upcoming Maintenance

The procedure for resetting the maintenance indicator is manual and does not require any diagnostic equipment: it is done using the partial odometer reset button. In the case of the vehicle in question, the service message is expressed not in kilometres but in percentage terms related to the quality of the oil itself (OIL LIFE %): the reset will change the indicator from 0% to 100%.
Turn on the ignition and press the partial odometer reset button until the OIL LIFE indicator appears; hold it down until this indicator starts to flash; at this point, release the button and press it again until it stops flashing and the percentage changes from 0% to 100%.
