How to Replace the Fuel Filter on a Honda Accord Mk5

This guide shows how to replace the fuel filter on a Honda Accord Mk5. This component is located on the right side of the engine bay. Using a 19 mm and a 17 mm spanner, secure the filter assembly and undo the 17 mm bolt. Now, you can detach the hydraulic line located on top of the filter. From underneath the vehicle, using a 19 mm and a 14 mm spanner, undo the retaining bolt for the second hydraulic line. Remove the 10 mm securing bolt of the filter assembly and extract it. Remove the filter bracket and install the new cartridge. Replace the seals and refit everything in position. Perform four ignition cycles of the vehicle's electrical system to fill the new filter, and the check engine light should turn off.
