Honda Civic - Video tutorial

Model: Honda Civic MK 8 - Years 2006-2012
Part: Shock absorbers
Operation: How to replace the rear shock absorber on the Honda Civic?

In order to replace the rear shock absorber of the Honda Civic you have to go and lift the car, so that the corresponding wheel is not in contact with the floor: after the vehicle has been raised, it will be possible to loosen the wheel fixing bolts, removing the latter completely and accessing the components in its rear part. It will then be possible to unscrew the bolt that fixes the shock absorber in its lower part; to loosen the one in the upper part, it will be necessary to open the tailgate and unscrew it inside the boot. After removal it will be possible to install the new spare part.
