Replacement of Rear Shock Absorbers

Model: Honda Civic MK 7 - Years 2001-2006

For this operation, only an 18mm socket spanner is needed. Remove the wheel and unscrew the nut that secures one end of the shock absorber to the vehicle's chassis. First, securely tie the entire suspension arm assembly to prevent it from falling during the operation. Position the vehicle on axle stands for safety and remove the retaining pins from the suspension arm protection. Unscrew the bolt securing the shock absorber to the steering arm using an 18mm ratchet spanner and remove the old suspension. Attach the new shock absorber to the base and then to the chassis.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
