How to Open the Bonnet of the Honda Accord Mk9

This guide shows how to open the bonnet of the Honda Accord Mk9 engine compartment. To unlock the bonnet latch, pull the small lever located on the lower left side of the driver's footwell, identified by the bonnet symbol. Once the release system is disengaged, you can open the bonnet from the front of the vehicle. From the gap created in the bonnet, locate the latch lever and pull it upwards to fully release the hatch. Lift the piece and secure it in the safety position using the appropriate rod. To close, disengage the hatch and return it to the closed position.
