Replacing the battery in a Honda Civic is a straightforward and quick task. First, ensure the key is not in the ignition. Open the bonnet and, starting with the negative terminal, disconnect both terminals by loosening the two nuts with a 10 mm socket spanner. Next, using the same 10 mm spanner, unscrew the bolts of the mounting bracket and remove it. At this point, you can take out the old battery and insert the replacement, making sure to reconnect the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal.
