In this video, you will see how to remove the rear bench seat of a Honda Accord MK8: first, lower the backrest of the rear seat and pull the lever from the boot to lower it completely. This will allow you to see the 12 mm fixing bolts under the carpet.

You will also need to remove the centre seatbelt from the hook. Next, use pliers to remove the two small clips on each side, then pull the tab to lift the seat.

At this point, the only thing left to remove the seat is one 10 mm bolt on the right side of the seat, which can be reached with an extension. The seat weighs 31 lbs (approximately 14 kg).
