In this video, we can see how to remove the rear seat of a Honda Accord MK8: first, we will lower the backrest of the rear seat and pull the lever from the trunk, making sure to lower it completely. This way, we will be able to see the 12 mm fixing bolts that are under the carpet. Of course, we will need to remove the central seat belt from the hook. Next, we will take pliers and remove the two small clips that are on each side, and then pull the tab to lift the seat. At this point, the only thing left to remove the seat is a 10 mm bolt on the right side of the seat, which can be reached with an extension. The seat weighs 31 pounds (about 14 kilograms).
