Adjusting the valves in the Husaberg FC 600

Before proceeding with the valve adjustment of the Husaberg FC 600, it is advisable (as always, whenever you want to carry out a maintenance operation on any motorcycle or, even, on a car) to fix our motorcycle, well immobilized, in a stable and safe way so that the safety of the operator, who works there, is safeguarded as much as possible. Now, let's remove the seat, the fuel tank, the plastic elements, the spark plug and the valve guard. Rotate the engine to the TDC position (upper passive center), using the appropriate wrench. In this position, the 4 valves are closed. At this point, it is best to use a plastic straw (which are used for drinking), in order to avoid scratching the cylinder when checking the valve. The operation must be done with the engine at room temperature. With the suitable wrench, we unscrew the valve and, with the screwdriver, screw it to the end of the stroke, without forcing. We match one corner of the bolt with the split in the screw and turn the screw to the next corner. Finally, we tighten the bolt, holding the screw firmly in place. We repeat the operation for the other 3 screws. The adjustment of the valves should be done approximately every 15 hours of use of the motorcycle.
