On Husaberg Fc 600 the setting of the valves is recommended every 15 hours of use. Before doing this, know that you will have to remove the seat, the tank, the fairings, the spark plugs and the valve covers: this is therefore a maintenance for those with a fair amount of experience. Using a socket wrench on the flywheel, bring the piston to top dead center. At this point, with the 4 valves closed, you can check them: make sure you do this job with the engine cold and without scratching the cylinders. The adjustment is made by loosening both the nut and the screw and re-tightening both when they are aligned.

How to change the engine oil of Derbi Fds

Let's find out below the instructions on how to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and the oil filter, of the Derbi Fds. First of all, we put the stand on our bike and start to drain the engine oil, unscrewing the vent bolt that we find under the engine; let the old oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the filler cap and carry out the new top up; we use the oil with the right characteristics, finally checking the oil level using the dipstick!
