On the Husaberg FC 600, valve adjustment is recommended every 15 hours of use. Before doing this, note that you will need to remove the seat, fuel tank, fairings, spark plugs, and valve covers: this is maintenance for those with some experience. Using a socket wrench on the flywheel, bring the piston to top dead centre. At this point, with the 4 valves closed, you can check them: ensure you do this work with the engine cold and without scratching the cylinders. The adjustment is done by loosening both the nut and the screw, then re-tightening them when aligned.
