To dismantle the engine of the Husaberg FE 450, first extract it from its housing by loosening the bolts that secure it to the mounts and disconnecting the connectors for its sensors. Once the engine has been removed, you can unscrew the bolts that secure the cylinder, removing it from the top of the engine to access the piston: the piston can now be removed from its connecting rod by widening the retaining ring. You can also loosen the bolts securing the two half-casings to access the clutch and other internal components.
