How to Replace the Sprocket on the Husqvarna 701 SM?

To replace the sprocket on the Husqvarna 701 SM, loosen the bolt located at the end of the swingarm to reduce the tension on the chain. Once the tension is released, remove the screws securing the plastic cover protecting the sprocket, taking it off completely and unscrewing the nut underneath.

This will allow you to slide out the old sprocket and insert the new replacement part around the chain; finally, reposition all the components and secure them with the appropriate bolts.
