To replace the exhaust on the Husqvarna 701 SM, remove the seat to access the screws underneath that secure the side panels. This will allow you to loosen the screws and remove the side panels on the left side of the bike that cover the exhaust. Once accessible, loosen the screws on the fixing ring that connects it to the exhaust pipe and the bracket at the top of the exhaust. You can then install a new exhaust, securing the side panels that cover it.

How to replace the air filter in the Herald Classic 125?
