To replace the exhaust on a Husqvarna 701 SM, loosen the screws securing the left side panel at the rear of the bike, near the exhaust. By removing this panel, you can unscrew the bolts holding the exhaust brackets at the top; also, loosen the clamp that connects it to the remaining part of the exhaust pipe. This will allow you to remove the old exhaust and install the new one, connecting it to the exhaust with the relevant clamp, securing it to the upper brackets, and covering it with the side panel.
