Replacing the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 muffler is done by loosening the screw that blocks the fixing ring that joins the muffler to the rest of the exhaust duct. After this ring has been loosened, it will be possible to disconnect the muffler from the duct and it will be possible to unscrew the bolt that fixes the muffler to the rear of the bike. By also removing this screw, it will be possible to detach the old exhaust and replace it with a new spare part: the new muffler will be connected to the duct with the fixing ring and fixed to the rear of the motorcycle with the appropriate support bolt.
