How to replace the steering wheel buttons of the Hyundai Tucson

Today we will explain how to replace the steering wheel buttons on a Hyundai Tucson car. Before removing the steering wheel, it is important to disconnect the vehicle's battery terminal in order to prevent the airbag from activating and causing damage to things and people.

We then get into the vehicle and insert a 10 key into the lower side hole of the steering wheel, in order to open the central body and disconnect the airbag connector.

After removing the central body with a ratchet key, we unscrew the central nut that locks the steering wheel so that it can be removed. Placing the steering wheel on a workbench, we unscrew the screws on the back of the button panel with a Phillips screwdriver.

We then replace the button panel and proceed with mounting the steering wheel on the vehicle by following the steps in reverse.
