First, extend the metal key by pressing the appropriate button, then pry along the perimeter of the remote to separate the two halves. Next, remove both the key itself and the internal circuit, open the indicated cap, and extract the immobiliser chip. Now, simply place all the components into the replacement remote, insert the spring into its housing, and load it by turning the rear half of the shell counterclockwise for at least three complete turns.
