How to grease the pistons of the rear brake caliper on the Hyundai i20

To grease the pistons of the rear brake caliper on the Hyundai i20, start by pushing the pistons in using a screwdriver or a special tool. Unscrew the caliper mounting bolts (13 mm and 14 mm spanners) and remove it. Clean the pistons and the seat thoroughly with brake cleaner and a brush. Apply grease (copper or white) to the pistons, pushing them in and rotating them to distribute the lubricant. The grease should penetrate inside; you will hear a characteristic sound when it reaches the bottom. Refit the pistons and caliper. Insert the new pads (pay attention to the wear indicator). Refit the caliper and tighten the bolts. Pump the brake pedal before driving. Proper lubrication ensures smooth movement of the pistons and prevents uneven wear.
